The Union Awards is Leeds Met Students Union’s way of recognising and thanking everyone who gets involved and makes us the great organisation we are. From Societies to Volunteers to Student Media we want to celebrate everything you have achieved this year

So its the time of year you’ve all been waiting for! This year its going to be bigger and better than ever before! Nominations have been open for a number of weeks and we can now reveal the line up! This years awards are moving to City Campus being held at the Carrage works on Mellenium square.  Kicking of at 7.30 with a drinks reception and awards starting at 8 its going to be a great night. Students Union President Yasser Ranjha said

‘This a great event to celebrate students’ outstanding work students have done over the last 12 months. We want to recognise their amazing contribution and achievements. What other SU awards night has a radio one DJ playing the after party?!

This year we are also topping it of with an amazing after party with a DJ set from T4 and Radio DJ’s Matt Edmondson. With all people attending the awards getting in free it might just be worth sitting through the society president thanking everyone including their  Mum, Dad and every member by name!

For everyone not going to the awards, the students union would still like to that you by offer a discounted entery to the after party of just 2 pounds! For a radio one DJ that isn’t bad! There are limited tickets so if you are involved in the students union, or the AU get your ASAP.  Click here for more info and to get your tickets.
