Saturday 22nd September will welcome Leeds’ first ever outdoor Freshers Festival.

Millennium Square is going to become the venue for this unforgettable day, brought to you by Voodoo Events, Leeds Met Student’s Union and Leeds City Council. The festival will have plenty to keep you occupied, from showcase stalls and activity zones, to a chill-out area (for when you need a break from dancing!) and of course, the stage.

The Freshers Festival will be hosted by Tony P from the Ministry of Sound and Dan Moylan from Radio Aire. Acts to look out for are Kissy Sell Out, the Loveable Rogues from Britain’s Got Talent, along with Faith FX and Parade.

However, the main artist, headlining the festival is DJ Fresh. Complete with a light show, it will be a performance to remember.

Your very own Met Media team will be there getting you all the gossip from the day. So, to make sure your university life starts with a bang, get yourself a ticket for the Freshers Festival. On sale now, a ticket for the day is priced from £22.50.

The official after party is taking place at one of Leeds’ most popular clubs, Halo. Or if you fancy something more chilled out, The Met Bar will also have its doors open from 10pm until late.
