British designer Matthew Williamson, known for his designer collection “Butterfly” at Debenhams and his previous collaboration with H&M, has now also joined forces with Sainsbury’s and come up with a range of limited edition shopper bags. The proceeds will be going to the charity, Sports Relief and will be released on the 15th of February in 397 Sainsbury supermarkets across the UK.

Inspired by nature, the shoppers are decorated with an exotic banana leaf print in this seasons “must have” colours; pink/berry, turquoise/indigo and mint/chocolate. The canvas designer shoppers will be sold at £5 from which £1.50 of the proceeds will be given to the charity in aid of those living in poverty both in the UK and overseas.

With Europe’s recent talks on plastic bag banning, and the new plastic bag ban recently imposed on Wales, these designer shoppers couldn’t be coming out at a better time. Great for carrying loads of shopping in and perfect as a holiday beach bag! So hurry up and get in queue to  snap up your bargain designer bag before they are all gone.

See you there!
