Last week I was a bit unfair on all the android users out there. You’ll be pleased to know that this weeks app is iOS and Android friendly.

Draw Something has stormed its way to the top of the free download chart over the past couple of weeks.

I, of course, had to download it and see what all the fuss was about! Weighing in at 12.9MB, I had plenty of space to try this drawsome app out.

You’re probably wondering what this app actually does. Well, as the title clearly states, you draw something.

Playing with your many facebook friends, the aim is to get a rally of turns going as long as possible. Each player takes it in turns to draw something from a choice of three items. The receipient player will then receive a video of your drawing as it happened, and proceed to guessing the word with a choice of 12 letters (See photo to the left).

You are probably thinking exactly what I thought when I first started playing this game, it’s pictionary! Well, you’re right. It is very very similar to pictionary, but it also has the advantage of being able to play on the move, be that with your beautiful retina iPhone display or your Super AMOLED Samsung display.

The social link with facebook is handy for that cross-platform compatability, meaning iPhone users can play against their android friends.

So if you’ve seen this app in the App Store or on Google play and haven’t yet downloaded it, then you definitely should!

Despite it’s simplicity and some annoying features, the hiring of Dan porter (creator) by Zynga will show great updates to come for the game.
